Embrace! Church is located on Fredericksburg Rd in Balcones Heights. We are in the Wonder Plaza between Chick-Fill-a and Tia’s Tacos and across the street from the Denny’s and Whataburger.
The suite for Embrace! Church is #8 and is in the same row of suites as the Salon & the Gym.
Sundays
10AM: Bible Study – “The Way” in our Life! Center
11AM: Morning Worship in our Sanctuary & Children’s Church in our Life! Center
Thursdays
7PM: Worship & Bible Study in our Sanctuary & Children’s Church in our Life! Center
During our time on Sunday or Thursday our Worship Leader along with our musicians will begin the service by leading us all in singing.
We will then hear preaching from one of our Pastors with a message from the Bible. The Bible reading will be projected on the screens so you can follow along as it is read. Many people also bring their own physical Bible (we use the NKJV). We can also give you a Bible to keep if you like, or feel free to use a Bible App on your phone or tablet.
Preaching is important because it leads us to a cross roads where we have opportunity to make good choices in our lives. Time will be given for us to respond in personal, silent prayer to God. On Sunday communion will also be made available during this period of reflection. Embrace! Church has an open communion which means everyone is invited to take communion if they would like.
Our entire Time of Worship usually lasts about 1hr & 15min on Sunday and about 1 hour on Thursday.
There is no dress code at Embrace! Church and you will find a wide variety of attire during our time together.
We would just ask that you dress comfortably and properly for a public gathering.
Children will participate in the music portion of our Worship with their families in our main sanctuary. Following the music portion, they will be dismissed for Children’s church with our Children’s Minister.
Joseph Cuestas is the founding Pastor of Embrace! Church. He was burdened and led by the Holy Spirit to begin a church that was not only affirming and inclusive, but also rooted in God’s Word. He studied for four years in Pastoral Theology & Music at a private Bible college in North West Indiana.
Shortly thereafter, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, and honorably served for five years as a Cyber Network Operator (MOS 0651). He participated in several state side exercises and one overseas deployment to Afghanistan. He attained the rank of Sergeant (E5).
After the military, Pastor Cuestas moved to San Antonio and enrolled at the University of Texas at San Antonio. He graduated in 2019 with a BA degree in History. He is a certified teacher in the State of Texas. He is currently pursuing his Master of Public Administration in Non-Profit and Public Management degree at Liberty University.

Pastor Sergio is the driving force behind our teaching ministry at Embrace! With decades of biblical study and a deep passion for scripture, he is dedicated to helping our community grow in God’s Word. You will usually find him sharing the message during our 11 AM Sunday service and Thursday Mid-Week Worship, or leading our 10 AM Sunday class in the Life! Center. Through authentic and grounded teaching, Pastor Sergio provides the spiritual and practical guidance that anchors our church family.
